Staples store associates who could use motivation selling credit cards to customers and are inspired by store incentives, such as pizza parties.
I created two ideas, a one with a football theme and the other with a music theme. I presented these two ideas, but at the end of the presentation, only one could be a winner. It was the football theme for the win!
I took advantage of the creative freedom I was given for this project to come up with some creative executions, which included a table tent that I turned into an interactive football “flickball” game, a tipcard, a goal tracker, a binder cover, an employee reference playbook and the box design.
Staples utilized this design for a pilot test, which was printed and sent to about 36 Staples stores. It was determined a success in motivating credit card sales.
